CEO PROVIDING SUPERVISION AT LOWER GRANITE
Cutting Edge Onsite Machining has begun work machining a valve seat. CEO Machining was hired by HCMS to perform the work at an Alaska Electric Light & Power facility.
Lower Granite Lock and Dam is a concrete gravity run-of-the-river dam on the lower Snake River in the northwest United States. Opened in 1975, the dam is located 22 miles south of Colfax and 35 miles north of Pomeroy. Lower Granite Dam is part of the Columbia River Basin system of dams, built and operated by the United States Army Corps of Engineers. The six hydroelectric units have a generating capacity of 810 megawatts, with an overload capacity of 932 MW. Power generated is distributed by the Bonneville Power Administration.
